Service Description

Practice Overview This practice weaves together the wisdom of Hatha Yoga, feminine wisdom, and somatic movement. I draw from a toolbox of what I’ve embodied and continue to learn, cultivating sessions that support the group as we are on the day. Each session centres around a theme. We’ll explore a predominant form of Hatha Yoga in which āsana, prāṇāyāma, and meditation flow seamlessly. This integrated approach allows the natural intelligence of the body–mind to surface, supporting homeostasis both within and without. Breath guidance and prāṇāyāma, along with simple chanting, may be offered depending on how we feel together in the moment. I do not plan a practice to fit you into it; rather, we’ll co-create a space that responds to how we are feeling on the day. This is an approach to yoga one that honours the depth and sacred roots of the tradition. It is not a sequence designed for a good stretch, or by means to reach but a path of personal relationship: to breath, body, and awareness. I share these teachings to support you in developing a personal practice grounded in The Yoga of Heart and The Heart of Yoga—approaches rooted in deep listening, friendship, and sincerity. Through an intimate relationship with breath, body, and mind, teaching becomes a shared expression of life. We play with the breath to support the nervous system, pranayama and welcoming sensory pleasure in the immediacy of experience. A practice that softens the logic-driven mind and invites us into the intelligence of the heart. Cultivating the nature in and of you to support your lifes path, on your terms.
