Service Description

Practice combining somatic movements. A predominant form of Hatha Yoga by which asana, pranayama and meditation have a seamless flow gives rise to the gifted threads that cultivate homeostasis within and without. I shared this so you can develop a personal practice through the Yoga of Heart and the Heart of Yoga. Through friendship, community sincerity, and cultivating an intimate relationship with mind-body breath, teaching is expressed. Playing with the breath to support the nervous system and cultivate a sense of sensory pleasure in momentary experience. Counter to the active mind and logic-focused world to experience heart-centred practice. If you want to develop your practice further, here are some recommended readings: Yoga of Heart by Mark Whitwell and Heart of Yoga by T.K.V. Desikachar. Embodied practice not only observes but also relates to the arising sensations, feelings and thoughts as opposed to dissociating from them. To nurture and be with, cultivate a sense of self-acceptance and self-compassion.
