The Integrated Mindfulfulness (heartfulness) and Compassion workshops & courses are integrative and designed to help you to build resilience, reduce stress, and the responses to stressors.  Inspired by Jon Kabat Zin a Molecular Biologist and Professor of Medicine was the first to introduce mindfulness-based interventions, founded of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in 1979, and rolled out mindfulness into the mainstream of medicine and society.  The roots of mindfulness can be traced through the traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism dating back to over 2000 years ago.  Successful in their aim to steady the mind and see through its confusions, withstanding the test of time with great benefits to this very day. 

Over the years, mindfulness has been studied in various areas such as health care, education, the workplace, prison service, and the military. Although in some areas research gaps could be reviewed in more detail however a great number of studies demonstrate promising results in relation to health benefits in practices of mindfulness. Benefits such as improved mental, improved emotional skills, sustained motivation, and greater emotional positivity more so in the education sector.

The workplace is certainly an area of concern, with “adverse effects of the increased psychosocial demands include prolonged work-related stress, exhaustion, burnout, and subsequent health impairments”. According to Wellbeing republics,  governmental study.  The effects are reflected in the rise of mental health-related sick days totaling more than half of the gross total sick days taken each year.

It is, for this reason, I have chosen to provide this service to help you, your colleague,s, friends, and your teams to tune into a sense of curiosity to pay attention, and accept circumstances with compassion in turn building resilience and courage to welcome, authentic communication, change, and transformation.
